Wambrook Waddle 17/05/15 – Tim Hoyle
This is the second year this event has been run. Set in stunning scenery to the West of Chard, this is a small, well organised event with a very friendly atmosphere.
I must admit to being too enthusiatic and setting off too fast on the downhill section at the start and paying the price on the following uphill drag ! After cajoling Wendy Holloway and Chris Rawlings into running this event I'm very grateful for their company and putting up with me slowing them down.
I will definitely do this event again and I promise to wear Crewkerne colours at future races. Look out for the Crewkerne runners team photo in next weeks edition of the Western Gazette.
